Brighton ready to move on without Chelsea target

Brighton manager, Roberto De Zerbi, in a recent statement hinted at the club’s decision to let Moises Caicedo leave before the January window closes.

According to Zerbi, they are not ruling out the possibility of Caicedo leaving.

Brighton have turned down bids from Arsenal and Chelsea for the 21-year-old, who are still determined to sign him.

Also, in a statement he shared via his social pages on Friday night, Caicedo made it clear he’s hoping to leave before Tuesday’s deadline.

For his action, Caciedo was dropped for Sunday’s FA Cup fourth-round clash against Liverpool.

While De Zerbi stressed that Brighton want to hold onto their prized midfielder, he, however, admitted that the club will consider the best “solution” for all parties.

“Moises is a good guy. I think in life you can make mistakes.

“For every one there are many solutions and we will see the best solution for the club and for him and for us,” De Zerbi told ITV.
