Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland has dismissed hypothesis linking him with a move to Chelsea this summer.

The 21-year-old was allegedly the subject of a player-plus to cash bid from the Blues, who were believed to offer Tammy Abraham or Callum Hudson-Odoi to BVB as part of a deal.

Nonetheless, former Red Bull Salzburg man has confirmed that he is eager to work under new manager Marco Rose and is refusing to be brought into conversations over his next career move.

Speaking to the press during Dortmund’s pre-season training camp in Switzerland: “I don’t actually have a lot to say about this. I have three years left on my deal and I’m enjoying my time here at Dortmund.

“Prior to yesterday, I didn’t speak to my representative in one month – I think you have the appropriate response there. I don’t actually think often a lot about that. It’s a great deal of cash – I trust it’s simply rumours to be honest in light of the fact that that is a ton of cash for a personal.”

Chelsea are believed to set up another bid of £130m for the Norway international striker, but Dortmund are expected to wait for a fee of £149m this summer.

Erling Haaland’s £68m release clause activates toward the end of next season, however, and Man United are still thought to weigh up a swoop in 2022.
