Boehly’s decision about Mudryk causes a stir from Chelsea players
Chelsea’s players expressed shock at the club’s owner, Todd Boehly’s decision to allow Mykhailo Mudryk and his entourage into the dressing room to introduce them before a Premier League game.
Recall that the Blues defeated Arsenal to sign the Ukrainian international in an £88.5 million deal from Shakhtar Donetsk in January.
Mudryk was officially unveiled before the fans at Stamford Bridge during the half-time break in Chelsea’s match against Crystal Palace on January 15.
A report via the Mail Online revealed some of the club stars and staff were shocked at Boehly’s decision to interrupt preparations ahead of the Crystal Palace game and allowed Mudryk and his team to enter the changing room at Stamford Bridge.
The report added that there is ‘growing discontent’ among the players, as many are now considering leaving for other clubs this summer as they do not enjoy Boehly’s interference.
Coupled with their exit from the Champions League, some Chelsea players would see their wages reduced.
