With a few days left to the end of the summer transfer window, Chelsea are keen to seal a move for a new striker, having seen two of their strikers Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku returned to their former clubs.

Chelsea have been linked with moves for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona and in order to make the deal happen, the club owner Todd Boehly has taken over the negotiation talks in order to understand the conditions of the deal.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

According to Romano, “Chelsea have scheduled a new round of talks with Pierre Aubameyang’s camp this week.

“Todd Boehly wants to understand the conditions of the deal also on personal terms, then it will be time to submit a bid to Barça.

“Barça want around €30m. Xavi, still pushing to keep Auba.”
