Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has been handed another boost ahead of next season by the club’s owner Todd Boehly.

This comes as the American billionaire in a recent statement called for patience to be given to the Blues manager.

Recall that Boehly had previously applauded Chelsea’s new form as he stated that they were beginning to play beautiful football.

This may be a hint that Pochettino will remain at Stamford Bridge next season.

Recall that the Argentine arrived at Stamford Bridge with the task of returning the Blues to European tournaments after a dismal 2022-23 campaign.

Currently, the Blues are one win away from guaranteeing their seventh position in the Premier League standings, and potentially two away from finishing at the sixth spot, which would guarantee a Europa League place.

However, ahead of the Blues last fixtures against Brighton & Hove Albion and Bournemouth, speculation persists that Pochettino’s position at Stamford Bridge dugout was not safe.

Pochettino had dropped a hint that it is also not beyond the realms of possibility that he and his staff walk could away from the West London club if the parties involved are not able to agree on matters behind the scenes.

This would depend on the outcome of Chelsea’s match against Brighton tonight, which could be their fourth successive victory in the top flight.
