Chelsea captain and defender Cesar Azpilicueta seems to be one of the players that would be leaving the club this summer.

This comes as a report revealed he has reached an agreement with a new club.

Italian Football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said Azpilicueta, 33, has reached an agreement with Serie side Inter Milan and would join them on a two-year deal.

The reports revealed the Blues are now expected to let the Spanish defender go by discontinuing his contract, despite it not expiring until 2024.

Azpilicueta, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Marseille in 2012 has made over 340 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions.

The Spaniard has also won different trophies including the EPL title, Champions League, and FA Cup, among others with Chelsea.

We will now have to wait to see if the Blues will approve his departure especially since they don’t have a worthy replacement for him yet.
