Chelsea defender and Spain international Cesar Azpilicueta has set a new record at Stamford Bridge following his appearance during their Sunday match against Nottingham Forest.

This comes as Azpilicueta became Chelsea’s leading overseas appearance maker.

The defender’s achievement is remarkable considering Chelsea are a club with a long and proud history of foreign players.

Azpilicueta’s appearance against Nottingham Forest makes it his 495th for Chelsea. Here are the current top 10 overseas appearance makers:
