It is no longer news that Chelsea are ready to sell Hakim Ziyech this January

The latest report revealed the Blues have set their asking price for Hakim Ziyech after Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma expressed interest to sign the Moroccan.

Ziyech has struggled to impress at Stamford Bridge since joining them in a £33 million deal from Ajax back in 2020.

The Morocco international during his time in the Dutch league helped Ajax win the Eredivisie title and reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

Multiple Chelsea managers have overlooked the 29-year-old, who has only started four Premier League matches this season under Graham Potter and Thomas Tuchel, respectively.

With his lack of game-time, Ziyech also wants to leave the west London side before the January transfer window closes next week and the likes of Newcastle United, Everton and Aston Villa have been linked with the player.

Gianluca Di Marzio in a statement revealed Roma has entered the race to sign Ziyech as they prepare for the likely departure of Nicolo Zaniolo.

The report added that Chelsea is asking for £17.5 million for Ziyech and have also been in contact with Roma’s Serie A rivals AC Milan over a deal.
