Arteta to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder in the summer

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been linked with moves for Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White and could be tempted to consider a summer swoop.

Consider the recent breach of the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, Nottingham Forest may have to sell off some of their prized players.

Recall that the club was recently slapped with a four-point deduction as a result.

Forest exceeded the £61m annual loss threshold by £34.5m and now clubs like Arsenal could exploit their predicament to sign some of their players.

As the summer transfer window creeps closer, the Gunners are have their eyes on Gibbs-White.

Gibbs-White arrived at the City Ground in 2022 in a £42.5million move from Wolves.

He has since become one of their star players ever since. With nine goal contributions across all competitions so far this term, the 24-year-old may soon find himself at Emirates Stadium.
