Former England footballer, Danny Mills has tipped Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to join Premier League rival Chelsea whenever he decides to exit the Emirate Stadium in the near future.

Following the arrival of David Raya from Brentford, Ramsdale has lost his spot as the Gunners’ first-choice goalkeeper.

The England goalie has not played a league match since Raya made his debut sparking rumours that he could leave Arsenal for another club in the next transfer window.

However, while Newcastle United are said to be considering an offer for Raya, Mills doesn’t believe that Eddie Howe’s side would sign him.

“Chelsea probably, because I think Eddie Howe is loyal to his players. And I don’t think Howe would do that to Nick Pope mid-season,” Mills said via (quotes via HITC).

“It would be a problem. It would cause disruption probably among the rest of the team. So, I don’t see (him going to) Newcastle.”
