Former Arsenal star, David Seaman, has warned the club to rule out interest in signing Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo in the January transfer window amid the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Seaman in his statement stated that he doesn’t want to see Ronaldo at the Emirate stadium because he doesn’t know what is happening with the player’s attitude.

Ronaldo became a free agent after his contract with Man United was terminated last month over his explosive interview with Piers Morgan

Since his contract termination, the 37-year-old forward has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea, Sporting Lisbon and some clubs in Saudi Arabia.

“I know I went on Piers Morgan show and said I would have him [Ronaldo]. I don’t think I would now if I’m honest,” Seaman was quoted by Metro UK as saying.

I don’t know what’s happening with his attitude. That is why I don’t want to see him at Arsenal, as harmony at the club is brilliant.”
