Arsenal told to sign this winger

Former Arsenal midfielder, Emmanuel Petit, has sent a message to the club to prioritize a move for winger Nico Williams from La Liga side Athletic Bilbao in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Williams’ form has gained him significant interest from multiple Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham.

Arsenal are keen on bolstering their attacking options, and are eyeing Williams as a potential addition to supplement Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli on the wings.

Although the Gunners have been linked with moves for Wolves’ Pedro Neto, they appear hesitant due to the player’s hefty price tag, making Williams an attractive alternative.

While Petit acknowledged how would have been to sign striker Ivan Toney, he suggested prioritizing a forward to provide competition for Martinelli and Saka in Arsenal’s youthful setup.

“Would Nico Williams be a good fit at Arsenal? Absolutely,” Petit told Betway.

“He’s been one of the best young players in Spain this season.”
