Arsenal have identified Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers as their leading transfer target as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.

The Gunners are keen to land the 23-year-old England international after an impressive campaign that has elevated his reputation as one of the Premier League’s brightest attacking midfielders.

Everton are also active in the market and are considering a move for Tottenham defender Djed Spence. The 25-year-old England full-back is seen as a player capable of adding pace and depth to David Moyes’ defensive options.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are preparing an ambitious £85 million bid for Bournemouth forward Junior Kroupi. The 19-year-old French talent is regarded as one of the country’s most promising young attackers and has emerged as a key target for Spurs.

Chelsea are working to secure the long-term future of academy midfielder Jesse Derry by offering the 18-year-old a new contract amid reported interest from Bayern Munich.

In France, Paris Saint-Germain have opened discussions with Monaco over a potential deal for midfielder Maghnes Akliouche, while newly-promoted Ipswich Town are hoping to complete a club-record move for Brazilian forward Emersonn from Toulouse.

Inter Miami are also weighing up a move for experienced Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha following his departure from Portuguese side Chaves.
