Arsenal set sight on highly rated premier league youngster

London club Arsenal are reportedly eyeing former Chelsea youth player Tariq Lamptey as they hope to sign the defender from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Lamptey made a name for himself last season at Chelsea as he put in some impressive performance when he was called upon by Frank Lampard.

However, he was forced to make a move to Brighton and Hove Albion after failing to sustain his place in the first team.

His transfer to Brighton has become a blessing as he’s been putting in impressive performance every week and this has caught the attention of some clubs in the league.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano Arsenal are on the clubs keeping their eyes on Lamptey as they are willing to work out a deal for him.

He made this known while speaking on his Here We Go podcast, the Italian journalist stated that for sure, next summer, can happen something big for him.

Romano stated that Arsenal are looking at him as a possible option at right-back, keep an eye on Arsenal because they are among the clubs interested in Lamptey.
