Arsenal reopen interest in £60m midfielder

Ahead of the summer transfer window, Premier League champions Arsenal are focused on making some new signings to their squad.
The Gunners who were at their best last season are already on the look out for new players they could make a move amid the ongoing FIFA World Cup tournament.
One of the players who has caught Arsenal’s attention is Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who made an impressive start in the world cup tournament.
According to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the North London are ‘in contact again’ over a potential transfer for Bouaddi.
Aside from Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are said to have their eyes on the Lille midfielder.
The Gunners are said to have made fresh contact over the conditions required to complete a deal.
Lille president Olivier Letang is understood to value Bouaddi at a minimum of €70 million (£60 million), which could increase with every of his performance at the world cup.
The Ligue 1 club would also favour a deal that ensures the defender would be loaned back for the 2026/27 season.
