Arsenal have reportedly made a late move to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, potentially hijacking a bid from Premier League rivals in the race for the French star.

The 22-year-old is coming off a standout season with PSG, contributing significantly to their Champions League triumph over Inter Milan and a fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title.

Barcola, widely regarded as one of the brightest young talents in French football, has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign—scoring 21 goals and registering 20 assists across all competitions. His performances have not only earned him a place in PSG’s squad for the ongoing Club World Cup in the United States but also caught the attention of Europe’s elite clubs.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with the winger, especially with uncertainty surrounding Luis Díaz’s future at Anfield. However, fresh reports indicate that Arsenal have now entered the frame and are seriously considering a move for Barcola. Encouragingly for the Gunners, the player is believed to be open to the transfer, potentially giving Mikel Arteta’s side the edge in negotiations.

The prospect of adding Barcola to Arsenal’s attacking ranks is seen as a major boost ahead of the 2025/26 season. Arteta is keen to strengthen his squad after another near miss in the Premier League title race, and Barcola’s pace, creativity, and eye for goal could make him a valuable asset.

While no deal has been finalised, Arsenal’s interest in Barcola appears genuine—and with the player reportedly receptive, a move to the Emirates could well be on the cards.
