Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reacted to the proposed blue card – and sin bins in football.

Arteta during his pre-match conference ahead of the game vs West Ham this weekend, said he doesn’t know if the football world was ready for a blue card.

He said:

“I don’t know when we’re going to get there, to be fair. We’ve got a lot going on now with decisions, with technology, with what has come in. I don’t know if we’re ready for that yet.”

Speaking on if the introduction of Blue card will be a good idea or a bad idea, Arteta said:

“Who knows. Hopefully it’s going to be tested very well before we introduce it at this level.”

On if the blue card will over-complicate football, Arteta said:
