Arsenal defender David Luiz has no plan of leaving Europe when his contract with the gunners expires at the end of June.

David Luiz has had a wonderful career in the Premier League winning titles with Chelsea before making the move to their London rival, Arsenal.

Though David Luiz’s time at Arsenal was short, the Brazilian was still able to melt the heart of Gunners fans with his performance on and off the pitch.

With the Brazilian set to leave at the end of his contract, there have been reports linking him back to his homeland in Brazil.

According to reports, Brazilian club, Corinthians, Atlético-MG, Flamengo, São Paulo, Grêmio, and Palmeiras have expressed interest in signing David Luiz.

However, this might not be possible as a report from Goal (via UOL Esporte), claim Luiz wants to extend his career in Europe.

The report claims Luiz is not ready to move to Brazil as he believes he can still prove himself in Europe.

If the report were to be true then David Luiz might be heading to Jorge Sampaoli’s Marseille, playing alongside Brazilians Luis Henrique and Gerson.
