Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is ready to leave the Blues if manager Mauricio Pochettino drops him from his squad this season.

A report from Football Insider (via TeamTalk) revealed Gallagher will consider his future at Chelsea if he loses his place in Pochettino’s side before the next transfer window in January.

The 23-year-old understands he needs game time ahead of the European Championships next year.

Gallagher could be under pressure soon, as Romeo Lavia, who the Blues signed from Southampton in the summer is recovering from injury and may be eyeing Gallagher’s spot.

Aside from that, Carney Chukwuemeka is also sidelined and is facing six weeks out after undergoing surgery.

Chuwkuemeka could also push for Gallagher’s starting spot for a Chelsea side that have started the 2022–23 season woefully.

Gallagher has started all six of Chelsea’s games across competitions this season but he is yet to score or create an assist.
