Another hijack loading? Chelsea target open to joining Arsenal

Chelsea remain busy in the summer transfer window as they continue to work on deals to sign Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho.
However, there are reports that the Blues are also keeping an eye on signing a new centre-back as their defender Levi Colwill could spend the full season out with an ACL injury he sustained in pre-season training.
One player who have been considered a worthy replacement for Levi is Piero Hincapie.
The Ecuadorian international, who is a teammate of Moises Caicedo currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga.
However, recent report disclosed that Hincapie has decided to exit Bayer Leverkusen this summer, with his release clause fixed at €60 million.
While Chelsea have not made an official move, report by Florian Plettenberg disclosed that Arsenal have already contacted Bayer Leverkusen and officially made their interest in Hincapie known.
Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be the race for Hincapie but Arsenal are the most serious option.
Premier League clubs have also been handed a boost as the Ecuadorian centre-back is very open to moving to England.
This could be another player Arsenal could hijack after nesting Tottenham in the race to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace.
