Chelsea may soon lose another of their striker to the Italian league after Romelu Lukaku moved to Inter Milan on loan this summer.

This comes as the reports revealed that Germany international Timo Werner could also sign for Juventus.

The report was made public by popular Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, who disclosed that the German forward could leave Chelsea this summer amidst interest from the Old Ladies.

Romano stressed that the Italian club are considering signing Werner as well as Alvaro Morata, with the latter being manager Massimiliano Allegri’s preferred option.

Romano said Werner’s name previously came up when Chelsea negotiated with Juventus for defender, Matthijs de Ligt, who joined Bayern Munich this summer.

Romano disclosed this in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday night.

“Timo Werner could really leave Chelsea this summer,” Romano tweeted.

“He’s one of the names in Juventus list alongside Allegri’s priority Morata – was already discussed during negotiations for de Ligt.”

He added that the Blues tried to include Werner in their deal for Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig.
