The latest reports have revealed that the Blues winger and American international Christian Pulisic has returned to the club on crutches.

Recall that Pulisic was on international duty for his home country during the international break.

He, however, limped out during America’s 4-1 win over Honduras in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday after 62 minutes.

Pulisic, 22, has now return to London and is expected to be unavailable for the Blues Saturday’s Premier League home game against Aston Villa.

Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel expects Pulisic to be sidelined for only around 10 days.

This means be would also miss the Blues match vs. Zenit St Petersburg on Tuesday in the Uefa Champions League.

“For Christian, unfortunately, he came yesterday on crutches and he has an ankle injury with about 10 days [out],” Tuchel confirmed.

Apart from Pulisic, Chelsea will also be without N’Golo Kante on Saturday because the French midfielder is also out on an ankle injury which made him unable to play for France during the international break.

Kante is, however, expected to be available for the Blues match vs Zenit in the UCL on Tuesday.
