Chelsea have finally allowed their longest-serving player Baba Rahman to leave the club for free this summer transfer window.

The report revealed Ghanian has moved to Greek club PAOK on a free transfer, which brought an end to his eight-year spell with the Blues.

Rahman was the second player on the list of the club’s longest-serving players after Spanish defender Cesar Azpilicueta who left Chelsea for Atletico Madrid last week.

The Ghana star moved to Stamford Bridge in 2015 from Augsburg for a fee of around £ 14 million and was rated as one to watch for the future then.

However, upon his arrival at Chelsea, he managed to make 23 appearances across all competitions for the Blues in his first season, which was the only season he ever played for them.

The remaining of his stay at Chelsea saw him being sent out on loan at Schalke Reims, Mallorca, PAOK and finally, two seasons with Reading in the Championship.

Although he has a year left on his current contract with Chelsea, the Blues let him leave for PAOK for free.
