Former football star Emmanuel Petit has encouraged Arsenal to make a move for Manchester United’s outcast Jadon Sancho this summer transfer window.

Petit opined Sancho would be an excellent addition to the North London squad.

Sancho, who was signed for a hefty £73 million transfer fee, found himself sidelined from Manchester United’s first-team squad after his fall out with manager Erik ten Hag last September.

He was then sent out on loan to his former club Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho’s loan spell at Dortmund has helped him rediscover his form, where he impressed in the Champions League with his electrifying dribbling skills.

While speaking to Grosvenor Sport, Petit commended Sancho’s rejuvenation, describing him as a new and explosive player.

“I was saying how impressed I was with Jadon Sancho in the Champions League on commentary,” Petit said.

Petit described Sancho as a dynamite on the pitch, who could be explosive on the ball with his teammate Karim Adeyemi on the left flank, making him so hard to catch.

The former football star doesn’t see Sancho return to Man United as he urged Arsenal to make a move for him.

Petit added that Man United were at the worst moment that any top player who joins them would look average in two months.
