Parma make enquiry for Arsenal midfielder

Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira is one of the players that could leave the Emirates this summer transfer window.

A recent report via The Times disclosed that Serie A side Parma have made an enquiry to sign Vieira.

The Portugal internation who joined the Gunners from Porto in the summer of 2022, has made only 49 appearances in all competitions so far.

Arsenal allowed Vieira return to Porto on loan during the last campaign, and are now ready to let him leave on a permanent transfer deal.

With Arsenal assistant coach Carlos Cuesta now Parma’s new manager, the club, are hoping to make use of this channel to asked about a potential move for Vieira.

Arsenal would let the midfielder leave if their £20 million price tag is met.

The report also disclosed that Vieira is willing to join Parma as he ‘wants’ to work with Cuesta.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have spent the sum of £140m to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera.

The North London club still hope to sign new players like Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze before the window closes and would need funds to do so.
