Fulham approach Arsenal for outgoing defender

Fulham have joined the race to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal this summer transfer window.
This comes as a recent report claimed Fulham have approached the Gunners as part of their move to sign the defender.
Recall that the Ukraine international has been linked with moves away from Arsenal after struggling for regular playing time at the Emirates Stadium.
Zinchenko was limited to only 23 competitive appearances last season, including just five starts in 15 Premier League games.
The 28-year-old defender has fallen down the peg at Arsenal behind Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly in the battle for Arsenal’s left-back spot.
GiveMeSport reported that Fulham are set to offer Zinchenko a way out of Arsenal before the transfer window closes on September 1.
It was reported that the Cottagers have approached the Gunners over a move for the former Manchester City player.
Arsenal are said to be asking for a fee around £15m to part ways with a player who is in the final year of his contract.
Marco Silva’s side will also face competition from Italian side AC Milan, who are on the lookout for a new left-back following Theo Hernandez’s transfer to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.
