Former Arsenal star, Gilberto Silva, has shed light on the reasons the North London club failed to win the Premier League title in the last two seasons.

Recall that the North London club in each of the last two seasons, finished closely behind Manchester City, who edged them out to win the Premier League titles.

This sesson, Mikel Arteta’s squad have also been considered favourite to win the title and are currently in third place on the table, level on points with Man City, going into the October international break.

Liverpool led by Arne Slot are the early toppers this time around.

However, Gilberto in a statement warned that Arsenal’s hopes of winning their first title in over two decades, could hinge on any dropped points at the Emirates Stadium.

Silva in a statement on MyBettingSitss said it won’t be easy, again for the Gunners while stressing on the need for them to learn from past mistakes.

The former Gunners captain said in the last two seasons, the club made crucial mistakes against smaller and mid-table clubs, especially at Emirates Stadium.
