EPL: Arsenal vs Southampton: Possible prediction

Arsenal will win this weekend host Southampton in the Premier League.

The Gunners led by Mikel Arteta have been impressive in their last few games and will hope. It continues that way when they face Southampton.

Arsenal is currently seated at the seventh spot on the EPL and would hope to move higher by picking all three points vs Southampton.

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson in a recent statement, has predicted a win for the Gunners.

On the Arsenal vs Southampton game, Merson told Sportskeeda, “This is a huge Premier League game for Arsenal. These are the games they have managed to win this season.

“They can kick on after this game and have a few nice fixtures coming up. I’m going to go with an Arsenal victory this weekend. Arsenal 2, Southampton 0.”

Arsenal have the sole aim of at least making it to the top four on the EPL so that they can return take to European football next season, having lost out to play in the champions league and Europa league this season.
