Declan Rice shares next season plan for Arsenal amid new arrivals

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has shared his plans for the club next season amid their moves for new players in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal have been active in the transfer market, completing deals for Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga, Noni Madueke and Cristhian Mosquera being their latest signing.
The Gunners are working on sealing their deal for a new striker in Viktor Gyokeres.
Rice who finished last season playing as a more advanced number eight is expected to retain his spot despite the Gunners signings of Norgaard and Zubimendi.
The midfielder stated that manager Mikel Arteta now sees him as a box-to-box player.
Rice, who scored nine goals and created 10 assists in all competitions for Arsenal last season and is looking to score more goals next campaign.
Speaking about his plans for next season, Rice said, “More goals. More assists. Impact the games more. Not just do it at the back end of the season; do it in a full season and set myself some numbers.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal will return to action this weekend when they face Newcastle United amid their ongoing pre-season tour of Asia.
They will hope to beat the Magpies like they did to Italian side AC Milan.
