Deal Almost done: Arsenal moving close to signing Gyokeres

One player who is main focus on Arsenal target list is Viktor Gyokeres as a recent update about his transfer to Emirates has emerged.

The Gunners are said to on the verge of a ‘full agreement’ with Sporting Lisbon for the signing of Gyokeres.

Arsenal were handed a transfer boost after the Sweden international expressed interest to move to North London after his two years stint in the Portuguese league.

A few days ago, it was reported that fee has been agreed for Gyokeres by Arsenal and Sporting.

Football journalist Ben Jacobs said the Gunners are moving ever closer to bringing Gyokeres to the Emirates Stadium.

He stated that Arsenal are closer to reaching a ‘full agreement’ with Sporting over a deal to sign the Sweden star this summer.

There are speculations that Arsenal could get a ‘breakthrough’ this weekend, with the details of the add-ons still being discussed between both clubs.

Gyokeres is expected to make a switch to Arsenal for an initial €63.5m (£55m) and a further €10m (£8.7m) in add-ons.

Once the deal is done, the next step will be for him to undergo medical at Arsenal after which he would be unveiled as their new signing.
