Arsenal are actively seeking a new striker this summer, and football legend Dwight Yorke has advised Mikel Arteta and Edu to secure the ‘next Thierry Henry’—Newcastle’s Alexander Isak—with a £100 million bid.

After narrowly missing out on the Premier League title by two points to Manchester City last season, Arsenal’s need for a prolific striker has become evident.

Mikel Arteta relied heavily on Kai Havertz, who led the line effectively but still left room for additional firepower.

Isak, who has drawn comparisons to Arsenal icon Thierry Henry from Newcastle’s coaching staff, is seen as a top target.

The Swedish international was signed by Newcastle for £63 million two seasons ago and scored 25 goals last season, demonstrating his potential and value.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Benjamin Sesko ended in disappointment after the young talent extended his contract with RB Leipzig.

Yorke expressed his surprise at Sesko’s decision but was clear about his recommended alternative for the Gunners.

“It’s surprising that Benjamin Sesko decided to stay at RB Leipzig and reject clubs like Arsenal,” Yorke told Best Payout Online Slots. “He’s at the age where he should be moving to the Premier League to gain experience in British football.

Arsenal now need to go all out for Alexander Isak. They need a striker like him because they fell short in that position last season. Investing around £100 million will be necessary, as that’s likely Newcastle’s valuation.”

Yorke also praised Havertz’s impact at Arsenal, noting his 14 goals and seven assists which contributed significantly to their runner-up finish.

However, he believes Isak could make an even greater impact, akin to Erling Haaland’s transformative effect at Manchester City.

“Kai Havertz was very useful to Arsenal last season, but they need someone like Isak as the main striker,” Yorke added. “Arsenal needs a signing of that magnitude, similar to how Erling Haaland transformed Man City with his goal-scoring prowess.

Isak, with his two years of Premier League experience, could adapt seamlessly and deliver exceptional performances for Arsenal.”

With the transfer window heating up, all eyes are on Arsenal to see if they will heed Yorke’s advice and make a substantial move for Isak.
