Arsenal suffer injury blow ahead of game vs Crystal Palace

Arsenal will return to action in the Premier League this weekend when they face Crystal Palace.

Ahead of the match, the reports have revealed that the Gunners are likely to be without Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The Ukraine defender has been missing in action for the last two matches as he is battling a calf injury.

However, he was part of the Gunners’ squad for a warm-weather training camp in Dubai.

Zinchenko worked on an individual rehabilitation programme during his time in the United Arab Emirates.

But a recent report via Evening Standard revealed Zinchenko is unlikely to be fit for their next league match.

Jakub Kiwior has played the last two matches as a left-back, although he is more comfortable as a centre-back. And with Takehiro Tomiyasu at the Asia Cup to represent Japan, Mikel Arteta is light on options at full-back.

Meanwhile, Arsenal head to the match against Crystal Palace at the back of a defeat to Liverpool in the FA Cup tournament.
