Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has been linked with moves away from Emirates after recent report claimed he has given approval to sign for Brazilian giants Flamengo.

The Brazilian side are expected to now send an offer to Arsenal for the 28-year-old who might struggled for game time at the club next season.

Following the signing of Sweden international Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, there are speculations that Jesus may have been further relegated in manager Mikel Arteta squad.

Gyokeres will challenge former Chelsea star Kai Havertz for starts in the number nine role over the next few months.

On the other hand, Jesus will spend the first half of the 2025-26 season recovering from an ACL injury that he picked up in January.

The former Manchester City striker, who is not expected to return until early next year, is in the final two seasons of contract, making the Gunners explore possible sale in the ongoing transfer window.

Amid interest from clubs in Brazil and Europe, RTI Esporte reports that Flamengo are ‘advancing’ in their bid to bring him back to South America.
