ESPN has named Arsenal star Bukayo Saka as the best winger in world football.

Saka, who broke into the Gunners’ first team during the 2019/20 season has witnessed a massive career growth.

Last year was his best season as he scored 14 league goals and created 11 assists.

Saka was also unplayable at times last season, and he pulled influence during many of his games for Arsenal.

“The events of the defining moments of the Euro 2020 final could have broken other young players, but Saka did not allow himself to be significantly affected by the vitriol that came his way,” ESPN wrote.

“Instead, supported by his teammates, the young London native further worked on his craft, developing into the best winger in football today. He was a major factor in Arsenal leading the Premier League for five months, and it was not his fault that the north London side ended up conceding the lead to Manchester City in the final weeks of the season.”

Other players who made the top 10 wingers in the world are: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Jack Grealish, Ousmane Dembele, Gabriel Martinelli, Riyad Mahrez, Kingsley Coman, Rodrygo, Phil Foden and Moussa Diaby.
