Arsenal are out to sign a creative midfielder this season following a poor outing last season that saw them lose out of playing in Europe next season.

The latest report has linked the Gunners with transfer moves for Man Utd midfielder Donny van de Beek.

According to the reports, the North London club have contacted the Red Devils on the possibilities of signing him.

Donny van de Beek who joined Man Utd last summer from Ajax made some impressive outing at Old Trafford in the 2020-21 campaign during which he made 36 appearances across all competitions but only started four Premier League games.

This has made the midfielder push for a departure away from Old Trafford even though he has only spent one season.

A report claimed that Donny van de Beek is set to discuss his future at Old Trafford with coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

If he is unable able to get a satisfactory response, the Dutchman will move elsewhere for more game time and 90Min reports that Arsenal have touched base with Man United with a view to a possible deal.
