A new report has surfaced that Arsenal are hoping to sell one of their players in the coming summer transfer window.

The reports revealed the player to be Matteo Guendouzi.

The midfielder was a key player in the earlier part of last season but fell out of favour of the North London club towards the end.

He was subsequently permitted to move to  Hertha Berlin on loan in October.

Since moving to Berlin, the 21-year-old midfielder has been impressive scoring twice and providing one assist in 18 Bundesliga appearances.

He is not expected to return to Arsenal until the end of the season and it looks like when he returns it will a be short while before he is sold off permanently.

According to Football Insider, the Frenchman has no future with the Gunners under current head coach Mikel Arteta, who will give the club permission to sell him this summer.

Further report claims that the Gunners are hopeful of selling Guendouzi for a fee in the range of £25m even though his contract with the London side is due to expire in June 2022.

During his stay at Emirate Stadium, the young midfielder scored once and provided five assists in 82 appearances.
