Arsenal have been handed an injury boost in the person of Thomas Partey who could rejoin the rest of the team towards the end of January.

The recent update revealed that Partey has made good progress in his rehabilitation work and will soon give the Gunners a timely boost.

Partey has been on the sidelines battling with injuries throughout his time in England.

He sustained a groin problem at the beginning of the season and has not played for Arsenal so far.

The Ghana international briefly returned to action in October but picked up another long-term muscular injury.

The injury made Ghana leave Party out of their final squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

However, a report via The Mirror UK revealed that the 30-year-old has shown progress in his rehabilitation work and could return to the first team ahead of their Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest on January 30.
