Arsenal have been handed a big injury boost ahead of their next match against Crystal Palace on Monday, with Oleksandr Zinchenko back to fitness.

Zinchenko has been away from the Gunners squad since the end of last season as he has been struggling with a calf injury.

However, the 26-year-old could make it to Arsenal squad Selhurst Park, according to the UK Mirror.

Zinchenko’s return is a major lift for Arsenal after losing Jurrien Timber to a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Zinchenko could start as an inverted left-back which is where he excelled last term.

Arteta’s men beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 in their first fixture of the season.

Recall that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had previously expressed worries over Timber’s injury as he spoke on how It could affect his squad this season.
