Arsenal fail to sign Feyenoord midfielder

Arsenal’s proposals for next season have been dealt a serious blow after midfielder Orkun Kokcu signed another contract with Feyenoord.

Orkun Kokcu has been regularly connected with a summer move to the Emirates Stadium after dazzling in the Eredivisie.

Having contributed six goals from 42 appearances in all competitions, Arsenal were purportedly expected to pay in overabundance of £20m for the youngster.

Feyenoord reported that they had concurred new terms with one of their star men, viably precluding a transfer to the Premier League giants this summer.

The Dutch side uncovered that Orkun Kokcu had signed another five-year contract, keeping him at De Kuip until the finish of the 2024-25 season.

Arsenal have also been connected with many other players this summer’s transfer window, but remains to be seen which deal would be done before next season.
