Arsenal have reportedly set their eyes on Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to help solve their consistent goalscoring problems.

Mikel Arteta’s side finished in eighth place in the Premier League last season, a move that saw them fail to qualify for European competition for the first time in a quarter of a century.

The board are eager to strengthen the squad in all department this season as they hope to bring back the glory days for its fans.

Arsenal have been linked with Brighton centre-back Ben White and 21-year-old Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin has joined the list.

According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are one of the admirers of what Calvert-Lewin has gone on to do with Everton.

Calvert-Lewin’s 21 goals in 39 games across all competitions for Everton saw him book a place in England’s 26 man squad for Euro 2020.

Arsenal’s move for the likes of Calvert-Lewin and Ben White will see them release first-team players such as Alexandre Lacazette, Granit Xhaka, Hector Bellerin and Willian, who have been linked with a move out of the club.

Arsenal will have to be ready to put in enough cash in the deal this summer before it can become a reality.
