Arsenal are considering a summer move for Liverpool winger Luis Díaz, with sources indicating that the Gunners are closely monitoring the Colombian international as a potential transfer target.

Liverpool’s stance on a possible sale is also becoming clearer.

Díaz, 28, joined Liverpool from FC Porto in January 2022 for £37.5 million and quickly established himself as a fan favorite at Anfield. Known for his work ethic and flair on the flanks, he was described as “really, really special” by former manager Jürgen Klopp in May 2022. While naturally a winger, Díaz has also featured as a center-forward under new Liverpool manager Arne Slot this season.

In the current campaign, Díaz has registered 13 goals and five assists in 42 appearances across all competitions. His performances have caught Arsenal’s attention, with sources confirming their interest in securing his services ahead of the summer transfer window.

As previously reported by TEAMtalk, Arsenal are preparing for a significant transfer window, and Díaz could be a key addition to their squad.

However, Liverpool’s willingness to negotiate a deal remains uncertain, as Díaz remains an integral part of their squad.

Arsenal’s pursuit will likely depend on the financial aspects of the deal and Liverpool’s transfer plans for the summer. With Mikel Arteta looking to strengthen his attacking options, Díaz is seen as a player who could add dynamism and depth to Arsenal’s frontline.
