Arsenal have confirmed the departure of another midfielder Mauro Bandeira this summer.

Bandeira left the Gunners to join League Two side Colchester United on a season-long loan.

The Gunners made this public in a statement via its official website on Tuesday.

“We wish Mauro all the best with Colchester United this coming season and look forward to watching his continued development,” Arsenal’s statement read in part.

Recall that the North London club signed Bandeira back in 2016 as a youngster and he went on to become a key figure in their academy side.

The 19-year-old midfielder penned his first professional contract with the Gunners in July 2022.

Last season, he made 23 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal’s Under-21 team, scoring three goals and creating two assists.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have finally signed Declan Rice from West Ham to their squad and their manager Mikel Arteta in a statement hinted at them signing more players before the close of the transfer window.
