Arsenal confirm deal for this goalkeeper

A recent report from Emirates Stadium revealed that Arsenal confirmed a new deal for their goalkeeper Brian Okonkwo.

According to the report, Okonkwo has joined Isthmian Premier League side Cheshunt FC on a work experience loan until the end of the season.

The Premier League North London club also confirmed the new deal on Monday in a statement via their website.

Okonkwo joined the Gunners’ academy in April 2018.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper has experienced previous successful work experience loans with Hitchin Town and Leatherhead, respectively.

“We wish Brian all the best for his loan spell at Cheshunt and look forward to seeing his continued development,” Arsenal’s statement partly read.

The new loan transfer is expected to give Okonkwo more game time and experience at the goalpost.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are preparing for their next game against Premier League champions Man City.
