After Greenwood, Marseille wants this Arsenal star
Marseille are set to raid another Premier League club after signing Mason Greenwood permanently from Man Utd this summer transfer window.
With Greenwood’s deal now down, Marseille are said to be keen on signing Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal this summer.
The report disclosed that the French Ligue 1 side have explored the conditions of a potential deal.
Marseille are said to be discussing internally whether to submit a formal bid for Nketiah or not.
A report via Sky Sports News disclosed that the 25-year-old has been tipped to leave the Gunners this summer.
However, his exit will depend on the Gunners receiving a substantial offer that can convince them to sell him.
Recall that Nketiah has seen his game time reduce drastically at Emirates Stadium.
Last season, the midfielder started only 10 games in the Premier league.
As of now he still has three years left on his contract with Arsenal, which means they are not under pressure to sell him.
A switch to Marseille would be a good deal for Nketiah as he is likely to get more game chances with the French club that if he remains at Arsenal next season.
However, all of these depends on if Marseille submit a bid for him.
