Transfer Deal: Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur battle to sign Kim Min-Jae

Tottenham Hotspur are apparently considering a proposal for Beijing Guoan defender Kim Min-jae.

Kim Min-jae, who stands at 6ft 3in, just has a contract with his present club until December, implying that he is required to be sold either in January or during this current summer’s transfer window.

Chelsea are accepted to be keen on the 24-year-old, however as indicated by report, Tottenham Hotspur are resolved to beat their rivals to the centre back’s signature.

The report guarantees that Tottenham are ‘weighing up’ an offer this month, with lead coach Jose Mourinho interested to improve his defence, which has struggled during phases of the season.

The South Korea international, who plays alongside Son Heung-min at international level, has made many appearances up for Guoan since arriving in January 2019.

Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-1 draw with Fulham on Wednesday night left the club in 6th position in the Premier League table, six points behind Manchester United, who are currently leading in the league.
