Liverpool are set to offer Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah a new contract that will ensure he stays at Anfield for as long as possible.

Salah has been able to put behind his first Premier League experience at Chelsea behind him by scoring 110 goals in 173 appearances for Liverpool and they are not ready to lose him.

The Egypt international has also ensure that Liverpool enjoy the Champions League and Premier League glory since leaving Roma in 2017.

However, he has been linked with a move away from the Premier League champion
as Barcelona and Real Madrid have been rumoured to be his preferred option.

The Egyptian during a recent interview stated that Madrid and Barcelona are two top clubs that any player would love to join but noted he is happy at Liverpool.

With Salah not looking like a player that will be losing form anytime soon, Goal has reported that Liverpool are certain to offer Salah an improvement on his £200k-a-week contract.

The Premier League champion are offering a deal which he might be forced to consider as he approaches his 29th birthday.

With Salah’s contract running until 2023, Liverpool are not taking any chances as they are willing to extend his contract so that he will be leaving the club in his 30’s.

The Egyptian has been in a terrific form ever since the season started as he scored two goals against Crystal Palace despite coming in as a second half substitute.
