Lampard says this American Player is work in progress
Ahead of the Blues faceoff with Everton in the Premier League on Saturday, coach Frank Lampard has given a report on American football star, Christian Pulisic.
Lampard in his statement disclosed that Pulisic is work in progress and that he, the club management and the player are working out to find the best balance of work and rest that will suit the 22-year-old in order to help him thrive at Stamford Bridge.
Recall that Pulisic recently rejoined the team in training following an hamstring injury, there are, however, new indications that he will start for the Blues vs. Everton on Saturday.
“Christian Pulisic had a tiny bit of awareness off the back of the Leeds game on one of his hamstrings, but he’s training normally,” said Lampard.
He added that “Christian is a work in progress. I don’t want to call this an injury he had in midweek. If the game had been a different type of game then maybe I would have used him.”
Lampard revealed that the club know Pulisic abilities which was visible when he came on against Leeds last week.
The Blues coach added that he is finding the right way to get the best out of the American star regularly and consistently.
We hope to see another great performance from Pulisic on Saturday.
