Deal AGREED: Bayer Leverkusen playmaker passes Chelsea medical ahead of propose move

Bundesliga playmaker Kai Havertz has allegedly passed his medical for Chelsea ahead of his proposed club-record move to Stamford Bridge.

Kai Havertz is anticipated to sign a five-year contract with the free-spending Premier League side after they agreed terms with Bayer Leverkusen for the talented playmaker.

The deal is believed to merit an underlying £71.3m, with that fee possibly ascending as high as £89m with add-ons.

There are reports in Germany that the 21-year-old went through his medical in London on Sunday and Chelsea are presently perceived to be working on official affirmation of the deal.

Late reports guarantee that the administrative work between the two clubs has been signed for over seven days.

Chelsea have been one of the busiest in the transfer market this summer, previously signing Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Thiago Silva, Malang Sarr and Ben Chilwell ahead of the fast approaching arrival of Kai Havertz.

The last deal will be more than the £72m Chelsea paid to sign goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in 2018.
