Manchester United will return to action this weekend when they take on Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Ahead of the match, the Red Devils have suffered two major injury blows as they will be without Jonny Evans and Raphael Varane for this weekend’s clash.

The Red Devils made this known in a statement via their website on Thursday.

Varane will be out for “the next few weeks” after sustaining a muscle injury against Chelsea.

The French World Cup winner is aiming to be back in action before the end of the season in May.

Evans also picked up a muscle issue, but it is said to be “shorter-term”.

Man United are already without six senior defenders as Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof are also injured.

With Evans and Varane joining them on the sideline, manager Erik ten Hag faces a selection crisis ahead of their weekend game Vs Bournemouth.
