Chelsea led by their American owner Todd Boehly are said to be considering a swap deal for their Croatia midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

The Blues are reportedly willing to swap Kovacic to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Inter Live reported that the Blues are very keen on a move to bring in the Cameroon goalkeeper who recently impressed and is on the way to the Champions League final.

Onana gained attention after he helped Inter defeat AC Milan to make it to the UCL finals where they will now face Man City.

It is no longer news that Chelsea is keen on signing a new goalkeeper this summer after they have been left underwhelmed by the seasons of both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.

Kovacic’s contract would expire at the end of the next season but there are reports that Chelsea are not planning to extend his deal.

The midfielder is also said to be keen on leaving Chelsea this summer.
